Try your luck at an upcoming contest. The owners of Good to Go by Lucrezia, 420 S. Calumet Road, Chesterton, will present a "Guess the Weight of the Big Cheese" contest between Jan. 19 and Feb. 2.

The big winner will receive a $100 gift card. There will also be cheese tastings and recipes available throughout the duration of the contest. The cheese will then be cut at noon Feb. 2. Still time to make plans for dinner fundraiser

Fans of Eastern European fare will want to attend the "Polish Dinner Fundraiser" from noon to  3 p.m. Jan. 27 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1801 Atchison Ave., Whiting. Super Bowl Plans at The Venue

Food stars at First Look for Charity

The Chicago Auto Show's "First Look for Charity," held Feb. 8, at Chicago's McCormick Place, will feature a variety of one-of-a-kind menus from Chicago-area restaurants.

The event, annually held the day before the Auto Show opens to the public, is a fundraiser for 18 charities. Standout food from Chicagoland restaurants and entertainment by American English and Million Dollar Quartet will also be featured.
