During the event, eatery owners Renee and Jerome Wilson celebrate with presentations of pastry art, visual art and music. The theme revolves around "The Polar Express."
A cake artist will design a standout cake taking on the theme of the evening while pastry chefs create whimsical desserts as well as sorbets and gelatos. Guitarist Marco Villareal will perform.

Cookie Walk
If you're a cookie fan, you'll want to attend Saturday's 15th annual Cookie Walk presented by Hospice of the Calumet Area. The event will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 8955 Columbia Ave., in Munster. Doors open at 9 a.m.

Breakfast with Santa
St. Catherine Hospital, 4321 Fir St., East Chicago, will have its "Breakfast with Santa" from 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 15.
Admission is $5 per child and one gift per family wrapped with a label for age and gender. Proceeds will benefit the Carmelite Home in East Chicago. The home was founded 100 years ago as an orphanage but is now a residential treatment center for infants through 18 years old. FYI: (219) 392-7009
