Join fans of chef Robert Irvine, star of  Food Network's "Restaurant: Impossible" for a theatrical cooking show at 9 p.m. Eastern today at Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds Casino, New Buffalo, Mich. and 8 p.m. Saturday at Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, Ill.

"It's a multi-sensory show," said Irvine. People will "see, smell and taste" during the interactive production that's more than your average cooking show. Irvine will be given challenges to accomplish and also invite audience members to participate. Ticket prices start at $25 for Four Winds engagement and $29 to $153 for Rialto Square Theatre. The $153 tickets at Rialto include a VIP cooking seminar with Irvine.

Tea Party

Don't forget to round up the little girls in the family and head to Michigan City Saturday.

The Barker Mansion's  annual "American Girl Doll Tea Party" will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. The featured doll during the event will be Molly. Girls may bring American Girl dolls or any other dolls to the party. Featured during the event will be a tea party etiquette lesson, World War II-inspired treats such as sugar-free apple tarts, thumbprint cookies, s'mores, cupcakes, tea and lemonade, which will be served in the Drawing Room.

Ciao Bella Cooking Demo

Ciao Bella, 1514 U.S. 41, Schererville, will present its "Cooking Demonstration with Chef Randy Berg" at 6:30 p.m. April 23. Menu will feature four courses paired with wines. Cost is $45 plus tax and gratuity. FYI: (219) 322-6800

A Greek Meal to Delight Palate

Greek Islands restaurant, 200 S. Halsted St., Chicago, in conjunction with Chicago Gourmet, will present a "Grecian Delights - An Evening of Art, Cuisine and Wine" dinner April 22.

Managing partner Gus Couchell will introduce his new heart-healthy menu at the event. The dinner will include a tour of the National Hellenic Museum, which is near the restaurant. Greek Islands, this year, is celebrating its 42nd anniversary. Among menu items will be fried eggplant, bekri meze, Norwegian salmon, vegetarian moussaka, beef kapama and more.

Goldmine of Wines

The event "A Goldmine of Planet Bordeaux Wines" will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Skydeck of Willis Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago. Cost is $35. Twenty winemakers and more than 50 Bordeaux wines will be in the spotlight. Workshops, quizzes and raffles will also be featured. Visit
