Mother's Day at Miller Bakery Cafe

Mother's Day Brunch
T.J. Maloney's Authentic Irish Pub at Star Plaza, 800 E. 81st Ave., will have a special Sunday Brunch in honor of Mother's Day.
The restaurant, which takes as its motto "Everyone is family in the House of Maloney," will take reservations for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Mother's Day.
Among items available will be carving stations featuring prime rib and ham; smoked salmon display; made-to-order omelets and waffles; assorted Irish cheeses, poached shrimp; roasted pork loin; Irish Ciopinno; Chef Victoria's chocolate cake; Homemade shortbread; chocolate fondue and lots more. Bloody Mary's and Mimosas will also be featured.

Bennett-Curtis House Brunch
A Mother's Day Brunch will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at The Bennett-Curtis House, 302 W. Taylor St., Grant Park, Ill. More than 50 items will be available including a breakfast station, omelets, lunch station, carving station, salad bar, fresh fruit, sweet station and more. O'Donovan's Pub and Restaurant, 2100 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, will have a Mother's Day All You Can Eat Brunch Buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. General manager, Frankie Zela, a Calumet City native, and executive chef Victor DeLeon have unveiled special dishes for the feast including mini fresh quiches, scrambled eggs in potato baskets and a Baileys Irish Cream cheesecake with a hint of mint. Mother's Day Tea
The Driehaus Museum will present its Mother's Day Afternoon Tea on Sunday. The event will feature a Victorian Tea Service in the Gilded Age ballroom at the museum, 40 E. Erie St., Chicago. Included in the tea will be finger sandwiches, fine teas and sweets. Sunday is also the 200th anniversary of the publication of "Pride and Prejudice," Jane Austen's popular novel. Actress Debra Ann Miller will portray Jane Austen during the event. Teas will be held at 11 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. Following each tea service, guests will be treated to a complimentary guided tour of the Driehaus Museum.
