It's prime time to start thinking about all things Irish on the culinary scene.

With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, personnel at T.J. Maloney's Authentic Irish Pub at Star Plaza in Merrillville, recently announced what's on the agenda for their upcoming celebration.

T.J. Maloney's 8th annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration will be held March 14 through 17. Different themes will be featured each day and various activities will be held including a Bushmills Irish Whiskey Tasting, Sunday's St. Patrick's Day party and a midnight countdown on St. Patrick's Day Eve.

Various food specials will be spotlighted including corned beef and cabbage dinner buffets on March 15 and 16.

The St. Pat's Bash on March 16 will feature the corned beef and cabbage dinner buffet, performances by Mayer School of Irish Dancers, Lake County Pipes & Drum and New Element and an appearance by "Tom & Maggie O'Little" from "Those Funny Little People." The O'Littles will also appear on March 17. Cover charge for the bash is $10 for presale; $20 at the door.

Drink specials will also be available throughout the celebration. FYI: For more details, entertainment, and food information, visit TJMaloneys.com or StarPlaza.com/Special-Events
