"How We Became One," $29.95
The Milwaukee-based spice company Penzeys Spices recently debuted its first cookbook "How We Became One," (Kitchen Table Communications, Penzeys One, $29.95). The 384-page book is a compilation from the first three years of Penzeys One magazine. It features a variety of recipes, tips, and a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of the magazine. Among recipes are shrimp in dill sauce, mom's meatloaf, gram's bean soup and monster cookies.
