Triple Delight at Dragon Bowl in Munster

Fans of Asian cuisine will find an extensive menu of diverse favorites at Dragon Bowl in Munster.

The restaurant stars a blend of cuisines, including Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Guests will find dishes from sushi combination platters, bento boxes, rice dishes and soups to seafood and chicken entrees, vegetarian selections and more.

Dragon Bowl, located in a strip mall at Ridge Road and Hohman Avenue, is a small eatery with a comfortable setting. During a recent Sunday dinner at the restaurant, almost every table was taken by diners enjoying everything from Sushi to Hot Pots and Snack Wraps.

The restaurant's menu is extensive and features something for everyone. It was difficult to choose what we'd have for our dinner since the options were definitely plentiful and diverse.

We decided on Triple Delight, which is an item from the Lunch and Dinner Specials section. Most dishes under the Lunch and Dinner Specials include an egg roll, fried rice, side salad and a fortune cookie. It proved to be an economical dinner entree at a cost of $8.99.

Triple Delight features a mixture of beef, shrimp and chicken with various vegetables and served with a slightly sweet, flavorful sauce. We also enjoyed a Honeydew Smoothie with Tapioca (2.99) for small.

Among other menu categories at Dragon Bowl are a "Weight Watch" Selection featuring steamed choices; a Noodle Soup section; Sashimi and more.

Other dishes on the menu include Tuna Tataki appetizers; Hot and Sour Noodle Soup; Tofu Plate; Singapore Rice Noodles; Roast Duck; Orange Chicken; Salt and Pepper Shrimp; Pad Thai; Green Curry Chicken; and more.

The restaurant offers a Kids Meal menu for $4.99. A large selection of Fried Rice dishes star on the menu as well and include various dishes such as Hong Kong Fried Rice, Garden Fried Rice, Ocean Fried Rice, Dragon Fried Rice, Hawaiian Fried Rice and Mexican Fried Rice among others.

Fresh Fruit Smoothies include Lychee, Avocado, Blueberry, Mango, Watermelon, Green Tea and others.

Give yourself time to survey the menu at this restaurant. You'll likely want to make a return visit to the eatery as well to try many other entrees.
