If you have a lot of chores, you may be in luck.
Senior women who consistently engage in household chores are likely to live longer, healthier lives, according to a new study.
Though it’s common knowledge physical activity is good for you, research shows vigorous activity is not the only type that’s beneficial. Light physical activity, such as casual walking or doing chores provides several health benefits as well.
According to the study, for every 30 minutes of light physical activity each day, the risk of mortality fell by 12 percent.
