Dog and cat owners looking to get their pets fixed can take advantage of a transport program offered by the South Suburban Humane Society in Glenwood, Ill. The program transports pets to the clinic from Gary on the second Wednesday of the month. The clinic offers special rates for low-income families and those receiving disability, Social Security, unemployment or other public aid.
