Fellowship luncheon planned

The Golden Times Fellowship Luncheon is set for Nov. 13 at Villa Cesare, 900 Eagle Rover Drive in Schererville. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch is at noon. Call Rosemary Block at (219) 322-1748 for information.

Buy 'Christmas Carol' tickets

Golden Times has reserved seating for the 2 p.m. Dec. 11 performance of the musical "A Christmas Carol" at the Theatre at the Center in Munster. Tickets cost $28. Plan for New Year's dance

The annual Golden Times New Year's Eve dance will be at Villa Cesare, 900 Eagle River Drive, Schererville, on Dec. 31. Doors open at 10:45 a.m., meal is served at 11:45. Dance to the music of Dick Elliot from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets, which include two complimentary drinks and favors, cost $30 and will be available after Nov. 10 at Citizens Bank, 1720 45th St. in Munster. Golden Times is open to those age 55 or older. To join the organization, submit your name, address, date of birth and phone number to Connie Matras, 2850 Norman St., Highland, IN 46322. Annual membership cards are good from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 of the same year and must be renewed every year.
