General meeting is Friday

Luncheon set for Nov. 14

The annual Golden Times Fellowship luncheon will take place Nov. 14 at Teibel's Restaurant. Doors open at 11 a.m., with a lunch of chicken or sirloin tips served at noon. Entertainment by Paul Vogrin with a musical chalk talk. Cost is $20. Tickets are available at Citizen's Bank on 45th St. in Munster. Call Will Richards at (219) 769-0597.

Dick Contino tickets on sale

Reservations are being taken for the Nov. 14 Dick Contino Show at the Sabre Room in Hickory Hills. Price of $54 also includes dinner and transportation. Bus leaves Staples at 10:15 a.m. To reserve, call Barb Jacobs at (219) 844-1090.

Reserve tickets for play

On Dec. 9, Golden Times will host a trip to the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso to view the performance of "Thoroughly Modern Millie," and have lunch at Strongbow Inn. The price is $52 which includes bus transportation. Bus will leave Staples in the Calumet Ave. Mall at 10:15 a.m. Call Barbara Jacobs at (219) 844-1090 to reserve.

Holiday show tickets on sale

Seating may be reserved for the 2 p.m. Dec. 12 performance of "Plaid Tidings" at the Theatre at the Center in Munster. Price is $28. For more information, call (219) 937-3949.
