Let the games begin

Last chance to sign up for our pinochle games to be from noon to 4 p.m. March 5, 12 and 19 at the Elks Lodge, 3120 45th Ave., Highland. Price for all three sessions is $10. Refreshments will be served and cash prizes are awarded at each session. Come alone, partners not required. Reserve for future events

• A golf outing is scheduled for 10 a.m. May 8 at the Lansing Country Club on Wentworth Avenue in Lansing. Price of $35 include nine holes of golf with cart, sit-down lunch, golf prizes and door prizes. Non-golfers lunch only, $15. To reserve, call Doc at (708) 474-7435.

• An afternoon dinner dance May 16 will mark the 25th anniversary of Golden Times.

• Members will participate in a bowling outing May 23.

• See "What a Glorious Feeling," a singing and dancing musical story, at 2 p.m. May 30 at Theatre at the Center. Tickets cost $28. Send check payable to Golden Times to Berdie Chiluski, 2606 Birch Ave., Whiting IN 46394. For information, call (219) 659-2228.

• Spend three days and two nights at beautiful Island Resort Casino in Harris, Mich., from Sept. 18 to 20. Enjoy gaming, shopping, pool and hot tub, golf, restaurants. Price double occupancy, $192. Call Barb at (219) 844-1090 to reserve.

Golden Times events are for members only. Members must be 55 or older.
