Pinochle winners announced

 

Grand prize winners at the March pinochle games were: first place, Marlene Murdock, 2,117; second, Marianne Grimmer, 2,106; and tied for third, Virginia Stincic and Frieda Rospond, 2,105. The next sessions will be June 4, 11 and 18.

Plan to attend golf outing

A golf outing is scheduled for 10 a.m. May 8 at the Lansing Country Club on Wentworth Avenue. Price of $35 includes nine holes of golf with cart, sit-down lunch, golf prizes and door prizes, plus a chance to win four dinner and cruise tickets on "The Spirit of Chicago". Golden Times' anniversary

On May 16, the 25th anniversary of the Golden Times organization will be celebrated at Villa Cesare, 900 Eagle River Drive, Schererville. Doors open 10:45 a.m., meal served at 11:45. Dance to the music of the Dick Elliot band from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and will be available at Citizens Financial Bank, 1720 45th Ave., Munster, IN.  Checks or money orders only. Travel with Golden Times

A trip Sept. 18, 19 and 20 will include three days and two nights at Island Resort Casino in Harris, Mich. Enjoy gaming, shopping, pool and hot tub, golf and restaurants. Price for double occupancy is $192. Call (219) 844-1090 to reserve.
