Finneran Pool, Lincoln and Freeland avenues in Calumet City, is now open for the season. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
Fees are $4 for adults, $3 kids ages 6 to 18, $2 children 5 and younger, and only $1 for seniors 60 or older.

The pool at Mann Park, 3035 E. 130th St. in Chicago’s Hegewisch neighborhood, offers family swim at 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, now through Sept. 1. There is no fee.
Swim lessons also take place during various times and days. New sessions begin this week.

Mark your calendars for Night Out: Movies in the Parks at Mann from 8:30 to 9:53 p.m. July 23 on the baseball fields at Mann Park. The movie will be “The Little Rascals.” Spanky, Buckwheat and the other members of the He-Man Womun Haters Club are surprised when group leader Alfalfa falls for a girl.

Membership at the South Holland Fitness Center includes use of the facility’s indoor pool at 501 E. 170th St. in South Holland. There are two lanes for lap swimming and an open water area for aerobics or swimming. Besides the main pool, an oversized whirlpool spa and a sundeck are available.
