Beginning Wednesday, classified advertising in The Times will be married to sections of the newspaper having similar news and features material.
Wednesday through Friday the special sectioning will make it easier to locate the information readers want. Here’s the breakdown by section:
Business: legals, employment, education and finance.
Community: real estate, rental and sales, announcements, merchandise, pets, farms and livestock, services and garage sales.
Automotive: recreational vehicles and autos.
Homes and autos will maintain separate sections Saturday and Sunday.
"By positioning the classifieds throughout the sections of the newspaper, we will reach more readers and deliver better results for advertisers," Lisa Daugherty, Times advertising director, said. "We’re bringing 'like' editorial and advertising content together to reach all readers rather than isolate all classified advertising."
