Danielle Dravet, daughter of Stephen Dravet, graduated cum laude from DePauw University with a bachelor's degree. She was a Walker Cup finalist, an award that recognizes the senior student judged to have contributed the most to the university. Dravet plans to attend Indiana University in Bloomington this fall to pursue a master's degree in journalism.

Daniel Grabarek, of Schererville, was named to the spring semester dean's list at Indiana University Northwest. This semester he was honored as a 2006-07 outstanding student in biology and was inducted into the Xi Iota chapter of Beta Beta Beta biological society.

Karie Firlit, of Beecher, was named to the spring semester dean's list at Olivet Nazarene University. She is a family and consumer sciences education major with a 3.8 GPA. She is active in Student Education Association, SUFACS and intramurals. Her parents are Paul and Lora Firlit.

Jackie Rutledge recently received a master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Southern Indiana. She is the daughter of Ronald and Christine Rutledge, of Hammond, and granddaughter of Mary Helen Payonk, of Hammond. She is a 2002 graduate of Bishop Noll Institute. She has accepted a position with Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn., and plans to move there this summer.
