HOBART | The Hobart Fire Department is still investigating the cause of a house fire at 1904 E. 36th Place, Assistant Fire Chief Steve Mast said.
The fire, which was reported to the department shortly before 4 p.m. Friday, started in the basement of the house and went up through a wall.
Damage was contained to the inside of the home, he said.
The family was home at the time of the fire, but no injuries were reported.
Mast said he doesn't know the total estimated amount of the damage to the house.
