LIBERTY TOWNSHIP | Only a trickle of water flowed from the faucets at Stacie Stoltz's home at Liberty Farm Mobile Home Park on U.S. 6 on Wednesday.

Stoltz said water pressure started to drop Sunday when temperatures plummeted. Since then, pressure has diminished and at times there is no water flow.

Without water, the laundry is piling up, Stoltz can't cook for her husband and three children. They can't flush their toilets.

Bob Fannon, Region Vice President for Sun Communities, which operates Liberty Farm, acknowledged the problem, and said the company is trying to find out what caused it. Fannon believes it is weather related, but no one can pinpoint a problem. He said the well that feeds the park is working properly.

Because the amount of water flowing into the park's sewage treatment plant is higher than normal, the problem may be that residents are leaving their water on to keep their pipes from freezing. He is asking residents to discontinue that.

Fannon promised the company will continue to check the system. Late on Wednesday, the company delivered bottled water to residents along with a note saying it was aware of the "great inconvenience."
