THURSDAY

Theft. Clifty Creek Court residents Linda and Douglas Marler reported a $200 radio and $25 worth of jewelry stolen from a vehicle.

CHESTERTON

THURSDAY

Vandalism. Bartronics, 112 S. 12th, reported $1,000 damage to a window at the business.

Theft. Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2050 W. County Road 1100 North, reported copper stolen from an air conditioning unit. The loss is $3,000.

MORGAN TOWNSHIP

THURSDAY

Theft. An $18,000 Bobcat and a $3,000 trailer were reported stolen from Morgan Township High School. The trailer belongs to D&M Excavating, of Michigan City. The Bobcat belongs to Ziolkowski Construction, of South Bend.

PORTAGE

WEDNESDAY

Vehicle theft. Huntington resident Jerry Schoeph reported the theft of his red 1991 Chevrolet Silverado, which contained a wallet, tools and dollies, a $6,120 loss. The truck was stolen from Super 8, 6118 U.S. 20, Portage.
