Lynn Wilson, who teaches the course housed at Portage High School but open to students in all of Porter County and Hobart, said students visited Portage's elementary schools every Wednesday in February as part of their dental hygiene unit.
The high school students explained proper brushing habits using a variety of methods, like having their younger peers brush smeared peanut butter off their hands with an oversized toothbrush, and helping puppets learn how to brush their monstrous choppers.
