SCHERERVILLE | A woman was not injured and her car was not damaged when she drove off the road into a ditch jamming traffic on U.S. 30 during the busy morning commute.
She was driving a 1994 gray Chrysler east on U.S. 30 at Cline Avenue when she went into the ditch at 7:49 a.m. Police do not know what caused the accident. She was the only occupant in the car, Schererville Cmdr. Randy Reno said.
One lane of traffic was closed to remove the car, after which, the woman drove away, Reno said
