GARY | A 26-year-old Gary man was shot to death Saturday night while he stood outside the Clark Service Station at 4500 Broadway, a Lake County coroner's spokesman said.

The victim was identified as Ronald R. Grayson Jr., of 4178 Jackson St.

Grayson suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body as he stood by the station's gas pumps, the spokesman said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 9:30 p.m., the spokesman said.

The incident is being investigated by the Lake County coroner's office, Gary police and the Lake County Crime Lab.

Gary police couldn't be reached for comment.
