As part of his swing through the northern part of the state on Wednesday, Gov. Mitch Daniels will be at Munster Town Hall at 12:30 p.m. to present state trails grants for the expansion of the Pennsy Greenway ($900,000) in Munster and the C&O Trail ($800,000) in Merrillville.

The governor will also make a stop at the Boys & Girls Club of Valparaiso to visit with Porter County children who participate in Mitch's Kids, the governor's after school program which focuses on closing achievement gaps.
