South Holland's second Heritage Haul 5K event is Saturday morning.
Crowds of runners and walkers are expected travel the USA Track & Field Association certified course to raise money in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Trophies will be presented to the top finishers in various age categories.
Early registration ends today and is $20 for adults and $6 for children younger than 18. Adult registration Saturday is $25 and $10 for children.
Participants can sign up at the South Holland Village Hall, at 16226 Wausau Ave., or download the registration form at www.southholland.org.
Volunteers are needed to serve at registration and water stations, as well as course marshals and face painters.
