HOBART | Anglers dreaming about the big catch are invited to take part in a bass tournament set for Saturday at Lake George.

The event, sponsored by Angler's Dream, will be from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the launch ramp at Jerry Pavese Park, 500 S. Lake Park Ave., said regional director Tim Jones Sr.

Jones said team winners are determined from the combined weight of the five largest fish that are caught.

"Every fish, after being weighed in, is released," he said.

This is the sixth year for competition at Lake George. So far, 40 teams have signed up for the event. There is still time for more sign-ups.

The entry fee for a two-person team is $100, and there's also a $10 launching fee per two person boat.

Launching fee proceeds will go toward the purchase of more fish to stock the lake, he said.

For more information, call Jones at (219) 508-9680 or go to www.anglers-dream.com.
