CROWN POINT

Board of Works to look at technology changes

The city's Board of Works will discuss a variety of information technology items at its meeting Wednesday.

Adam Graper, the city's director of media relations and IT, will ask the board to allow him to establish a local business directory on the city's Web site and to accept an agreement for free city resident e-mail accounts.

Graper also will ask the city to consider purchasing equipment to record and broadcast city meetings.

HOBART

Association rep to talk on property tax reform

The Board of Public Works and the City Council will conduct a joint work session at 5 p.m. May 21 in City Council chambers, 414 Main St.

A representative of the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns will talk about new property tax reforms.

The session will last about 45 minutes.
