CROWN POINT

Robotics team does well in second year

The Crown Point High School robotics team tied for third place at the Boilermaker Regional competition earlier this month.

Forty teams of students from the Midwest and North Dakota participated in the competition, which combines sports with science and technology. The competition featured fast-paced matches in which robots raced around a track.

Crown Point High School teacher/mentors Diane Noble and Mark Querry said they are proud of the team in just its second year.
