WESTVILLE | Ten registered nurses, who are students enrolled in the Purdue University North Central Department of Nursing Bachelor's Degree program will present a free health fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 4 at Marquette High School in Michigan City.

The Health Fair, a service learning project, offers clinical experience for the nursing students enrolled in the Community Health Nursing class this semester, under the clinical direction of registered nurse Karen Stringer, and registered nurse Peggy Rose, PNC assistant professor of Nursing and St. Anthony Memorial Hospital congregational nurse.

The R.O.C.K. Your Health! (Teens taking Responsibility, having different Options, demonstrating Concern, and Knowing their health) event will feature a variety of health and safety agencies and organizations from LaPorte, Porter and St. Joseph counties who will share vital information with the high school students.
