Deadline for FEMA, SBA assistance is March 31
Anyone living in an area declared a federal disaster area because of recent storms and flooding has until March 31 to apply for disaster assistance.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the reminder on Saturday.

For disaster-related losses, all loan applications for homeowners, renters and businesses of any size also are due to the Small Business Administration by March 31.
