Valparaiso University men's basketball head coach Homer Drew announced Tuesday that De'Andre Haskins, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound guard out of La Lumiere has agreed to join the Crusader program as a freshman for the 2008-09 season.
"We are excited that De'Andre will be attending Valparaiso," Drew said. "He will be one of our most athletic players as a freshman. De'Andre is versatile, as he's able to play several different positions. He's also very quick and possesses a strong determination to work hard to improve his game. We are very happy to have him as part of our Valpo family."
