PORTER COUNTY | There's still time to help the men and women who are serving overseas. The Porter County Pilots Association has a group called "Supplies for the GIs" and they collect and ship care packages to the soldiers who are serving overseas.
Mike David is one of the people in charge of the program and hopes they get a good amount of supplies.
The group will be at the Porter County Airport at hanger C9 at 1 p.m. April 19 packaging all the supplies and then mailing them out to the soldiers.
"People are welcome to come out and join us," said David. "The more the merrier."
