HAMMOND | Towle Theater is hosting day camps for children.

The first camp is for youths interested in participating in a musical production. Auditions will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the theater, 5205 Hohman Ave. The camp runs weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon, from July 13 to 31, with a full production on Aug. 1. There is a $150 fee for the camp.

The theater is also sponsoring a technique-based summer camp that requires no auditioning. Students will work on presentation and other aspects of performing at the camp. The camp runs from 2 to 4 p.m. weekdays from July 13 to 31. There is a $100 fee and space is limited.

Both camps are open to children ages 6 through 15. For more information, call (219) 937-8780. -- BY TIMES STAFF
