Bringing 'Peter Pan' to life

Indiana Youth Ballet will present "Peter Pan," featuring more than 125 children and young adults from Northwest Indiana and Illinois, in the Milton Payton Performing Arts Center at Crete-Monee High School, 1515 W. Exchange Ave. in Crete. School shows are planned at 10 a.m. and at noon Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Senior citizen groups also may attend these shows. Public performances will be at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $15. Tinkerbell and the dastardly Captain Hook. Indiana Youth Ballet is composed of a core company of dancers who train extensively in Chicago in addition to local training. Many former dancers have gone on to professional careers in dance.
