ST. JOHN | Part of a Chase bank branch in St. John has opened, a day after a car crashed through one side of the building and exited the other side.
The drive-thru lane and ATM are open at the bank, 9600 Wicker Ave., said Chase Spokeswoman Nancy Norris.
"We do not yet know when the lobby will re-open," she said. "Customers can visit the lobby at the nearby Dyer branch."
No one was hurt Thursday morning when a Merrillville man accidentally crashed his 2005 BMW SUV through the glass doors of the bank.
The driver was not cited.
