A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the George Rogers Clark Drama Department will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 19 in the cafeteria (entrance on Davis Avenue.) For $6 for adults and $3 for children 6 and younger, attendees will get a portion of spaghetti, garlic bread, green beans, salad and a homemade dessert. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds will be used for Clark musical productions.

Fundraiser | Rosemont, Ill.
On Nov. 9, more than 1,000 guests will come to the Rosemont Convention Center to celebrate St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The fashion show will feature contemporary fashions by Mart Fashion Production, furs by York Furriers, and jewelry by International Art Jewelers. Tickets are $70 each, with tables of 10 for $700, and Dream Tables for $1,500. The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is located at 5555 N. River Road.

Hospice Hustle | Crown Point
Registration is open for the 2008 Hospice Hustle, an event for bicyclists that will be held Sept. 21 to benefit Hospice of the Calumet Area. Participants can select one of two routes, traveling 25 or 62 miles through southern Lake County. Both noncompetitive rides begin and end at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
