EAST CHICAGO | City police officers are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting in the 3900 block of Parrish Avenue, according to city spokesman Damian Rico.
Rico said the police chief didn't release more information on the situation because it's currently under investigation. The incident happened about 1:20 p.m. It wasn't revealed whether anyone was injured in the shooting.
