About Diane:
Born Aug. 27, 1990.
Daughter of Ted and Cindy Toth of Hobart.
Sister to Jason and Valerie.
Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart.
Accomplishments: Diane Toth is a senior at Hobart High School. She finished junior year with a 4.1 grade point average and is taking Advanced Placement English, chemistry and calculus along with honors French IV this year. Toth is secretary of National Honor Society and a member of Key Club. She is active in Youth and Government and participates on both the science and English Academic Super Bowl teams. Toth is president of the drama club. She's been involved in theater productions both on stage and behind the scenes, most recently in "Alice in Wonderland" and "42nd Street". She will be in the fall play "Twelfth Night" and hopefully be involved in the spring musical "Anything Goes" and a student director for a children's show to be decided. Toth attended Girl's State this past summer and is involved in the college application process.
She's been involved in volunteer work through school and her church.
Personal hero: "My sister. She's 13 years old than I am and done a lot with her life. She does a lot for others and what she finds most important in her life."
What I read: "I'm a huge fiction fan. I just read Life of Pi' and I'm working on Water for Elephants'. Both are very good."
What I do for fun: "I do a lot of home things. I love cooking, sewing and painting."
