* Plant and flower sale is May 9 and 10 and May 16 and 17 at Yeager's Greenhouses, 348 N. County Road 450 East in Washington Twp. Hours for both weekends are noon-6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds from the sale benefit the vacation funds at the Annabelle, Sheffield and Lute Road group homes.
*OE Friends and Family Together meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. May 19 at OE's far north entrance. The topic for
discussion is "Trusts for Special Needs Individuals." Melissa Justice of ARC Trust, and Bill Trowbridge, Vice President and Trust Officer at 1st Source Bank and OE Planned Giving Advisor, will be presenting.
* Hours of the Simply amazing Market are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
*The 18th annual ABATE Ultimate Bike show, to benefit the all About Kids program, will be held June 14 at Harley Davidson of Valparaiso. Call Barb at (219) 983-2929 for more information.
* The Memorial Day Trail Run XTreme 12K will be held on May 26 at Imagination Glen Park in Portage. The kids' one mile race begins at 8:15 a.m., and the adult race at 9 a.m. Race registration is $20 per person, pre-registered, or $25 on race day.
