VALPARAISO | Local children are invited to meet firefighters and see some firefighting equipment from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Tower Park, 1000 Franklin St.
Firefighters Local 1124 will serve hot dogs at no cost. There also will be a sprinkler set up to keep kids cool.
