CHESTERTON | This Saturday, in downtown Chesterton Thomas Centennial Park, many local restaurants and organizations will gather together to offer tastes of their unique cuisines. At Taste of Duneland, you may sample the fare of Lucrezia's Cafe, Wagner's, Millwright's Daughter, Popolano's, Taj Indian Bistro, Third Coast Spice Café, Regal Rabbit, and Giggles Pizza.

The Chesterton Lions Club will be offering their popular potato sausage with sauerkraut, hot dogs & hamburgers, and fresh corn on the cob. LULAC, Gelato Sun, and The Frozen Rainbow Italian Ice will offer their delicious specialties as well. Savor the distinctive wines of Butler Winery as you relax in Lucrezia's beer & wine garden.

Put on your dancing shoes and party to the music of local band, VooDoo Chili from 2:30 n 7:30 p.m. at the bandstand. For extra-special fun, kids can bounce in bouncy houses provided by Bounce N Around! Have fun perusing the booths of Duneland Girl Scout Troop 109, Youth for Christ, Post-Tribune, Save the Dunes Council, Duneland Extreme Sports, American Cancer Society and the Westchester Township History Museum.

3:45 p.m. Duneland Extreme Sports skateboarding demonstration in the Chamber parking lot, adjacent to the park.

11 a.m.-7 p.m. Bid in the silent auction on valuable items and gift certificates from local businesses, including a one night stay at the Gray Goose Inn, slot car from Don's Hobby Shop, one night stay at Hilton Garden Inn, gift baskets from Red Cup Café, Lucrezia's, Gray Goose Inn, and Books Alive, and much more! Be sure to enter the Great Gift Basket Raffle, which features more than one way to win!

1-7 p.m. Entries will be drawn each hour to win a gift certificate. At 7 p.m. all winning entries will be returned to the mix, and the Great Gift Basket prize winning entry will be drawn. Entries are $1.00 each n no limit.

The Taste is 11 a.m.m -8 p.m. Saturday in downtown Cheaterton in thomas Centennial Park a tthe cross streets of Calumet and Broadway. Free admission.
