HAMMOND | Another six unsafe structures in the city have been scheduled for demolition.
The Board of Public Works and Safety last week accepted a low bid of $46,810 for the work from Actin/TRI of East Chicago. The bid was recommended by the Building, Code Enforcement and Zoning Department.
To be torn down are derelict structures at 4432 Columbia Ave., 742-44 State St., 1158 State St. (garage only), 1514 Summer St., 1038 Eaton St. and 6235 Monroe Ave. - BY STEVE ZABROSKI, THE TIMES
