MERRILLVILLE | A 21-year-old man, who lists both Chicago and Gary home addresses, was charged Thursday with sexual misconduct with a minor, authorities said.

Reginald Lamont Deberry was charged in Lake Superior Court with having sexual relations with a 15-year-old Merrillville girl last summer.

Court documents say Deberry impregnated the girl, who gave birth in mid-March.

The girl told police she met Deberry while out jogging.

Court documents say Deberry later picked up the girl in his car and the two had sexual relations after she told him she was 15.
