A Lake Station real estate firm is sponsoring information meetings next week on the recent tax reassessment.
Ennis, Moore & Associates Inc. announced it will host a meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Post 100, 1899 Central Ave., Lake Station, and at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Miller American Legion, 6601 Hobart Road, Gary.
There will be a discussion of the tax assessment process, including how to understand a property card, a Form 11 notice and the procedures for filing an appeal.
