SOUTH HAVEN | Jason Frigo and Jordan Ashton scored 72 points and first place in a NBA two-ball competition held recently at the South Haven Boys & Girls Club.
This basketball skills game is played by two-player teams. Each team has one minute to score as many baskets as possible from designated shooting spots on a half court. Each spot is worth a different point value based on the difficulty of the basket. At the end of the competition, the winner in each category with the highest score advances to the next level of play.
Taking first place among members 5 to 7 years old were Hunter Hopkins and Samuel Carlisle, who scored 12 points.
In the 8- to 10-year-old age group, Michael Davis and Michael Carlisle scored 34 points to place first.
Colton George and Ross Williams won first place among the 11- to 13-year-old participants, scoring 29 points.
