CHICAGO | City police are investigating the weekend shooting of a Dolton man.

Lawrence Williams, 39, of Dolton was fatally shot in the abdomen Saturday morning in the 300 block of West 99th Place. He was rushed in Chicago's Roseland Community Hospital where he died.

Police said Williams was found wounded in his car after a report his car had sideswiped several vehicles parked along 99th Place.
