Petco is hosting its first Valentine's Day Pet Party, an opportunity for pet owners to share some special time with their furry friends. Or, as Petco describes it, a chance to smooch your pooch on Valentine's weekend.
There's a best pet kiss contest at 2 p.m., a chance for pet owners to pucker up. Judges will award a Petco gift card to the pet and owner who demonstrate the best expression of love.
Over in the grooming salon, it's pet-icure time, where red nail polish will be applied free of charge between 1 and 4 p.m.
Owners can pose with their pets and receive a free commemorative Valentine's Day photo frame personalized with the pet's paw-print autograph.
