GARY | For $55, you now can take what is being pitched as "an amazing journey," an insider's guide to Gary, home of "the greatest show business family EVER," according to a tour company's Web site.

The Chicago-based JWR Tours is selling bus tours from Chicago to various Michael Jackson-themed spots throughout the Steel City.

JWR Tours promises an exciting tour of 2300 Jackson St. -- the Jackson family's former home -- "and other King of Pop points of interest." Tours are slated to run on weekends starting July 18.

According to the company's Web site, those points include Roosevelt High School, the corner store where the Jackson family went to buy bread and the steel mill where Michael's father, Joe Jackson, worked.

The company plans to include as a stop Mr. Lucky's, the now-shuttered nightclub where Jackson made his professional debut in 1966.

A tour of Jackson's hometown -- which he last visited in 2003 -- will cost adults $55 and children $45. In its pitch, JWR Tours indicates an ideal tour group size is between 14 and 55 people per bus.

Tour guides will be led by Gary residents, who will share "funny stories and other never before told tidbits about the King of Pop," according to the company's Web site.
