Surveillance cameras caught images of a man charged Monday in connection with an armed robbery at a Highland gas station, police said.

Police had not arrested Dexter Howard, of Richton Park, Ill., on Monday, the day he was charged with armed robbery, Highland police Detective Mark Santino said.

Howard is accused of robbing a gas station at Cline Avenue and Ridge Road on Sept. 22. No one was hurt in that robbery, Santino said. Howard is suspected of other robberies, Santino said.
