CALUMET CITY | The FBI has released surveillance photos of suspects in the July 14 robbery of a TCF bank branch at 493 Torrence Ave., said Cynthia Yates, spokeswoman for the FBI field office in Chicago.

A man and woman entered the bank about 11:15 a.m. The man passed a note to a bank teller demanding money, Yates said. The pair left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured and the suspects did not display a weapon, however the man implied a weapon was present, Yates said.

Witnesses described the woman as a black female who is between 40 and 50 years old, weighs about 150 pounds and stands about 5 feet 3 inches tall. She had shoulder-length hair, a T-shirt and jeans, and a black purse.

The man is described as a stocky black male who is between 40 and 50 years old and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a black-brimmed hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI's Chicago field office at (312) 421-6700.
