The Pink Ribbon Society is looking for "Calendar Girls (or Guys)."
If you know an individual who is a breast cancer survivor who would make a great role model for others diagnosed with breast cancer, nominate them to appear in the 2011 Breast Cancer Survivors' Calendar.
Send The Pink Ribbon Society the following information about the nominee: their name, year of diagnosis, personal and/or professional accomplishments, and the things in general that make them outstanding.
"You can nominate your mom, dad, daughter, son, sister, brother, co-worker, friend or anyone that you think would be considered a role model for others in our community whose lives have been touched by breast cancer," said Ann Peters, of the Pink Ribbon Society.
Calendar Girls and Guys will be presented at the ninth annual Breast Cancer Survivors luncheon on Sept. 26 at Avalon Manor in Hobart.
Send nominations to: Pink Ribbon Society, 11011 Allendale Court, Crown Point, IN 46307. Deadline for nominations is Aug. 1.
"Make sure to include your phone number," Peters added. "If the individual you nominate is chosen, we will need to contact you for more information."
